With a marvelous stretch of coast line and numerous rivers lakes and ponds, Silloth is ideally placed for angling of all kinds.
With over 20 miles of coastline, the Solway Firth offers ideal opportunities for both boat and beach fishermen and women, with regular reports of very good catches of codling, rock fish, flatties, eels, coal fish, polock, bass, mullet, whiting, rays and mackerel.
The inland waterways, rivers and lakes also cater for coarse fishing and fly fishing of the highest standards.
In recent months, Caravan Care has been inundated with requests to stock fishing bait and equipment and as a result we are now stocking a full range of frozen sea baits including:
Black lug, Rag worm, Peeler crab, Mackerel (whole fish and fillets), Squid, Sand eels, Mussels, Blueys and Razor fish (for a completly independant view click here)
We are also delighted to announce that we have now been accepted as official Fladen agents for the area and are now stocking an extensive range of fishing tackle, reels, rods and accessories, you could say that we now have it tied up - hook line and sinker.
